Report from Doug

It seems we are finally in the trade winds with kinder seas and more moderate and consistent winds from northeast and east. We are currently on a broad reach (port) making about 6.5 knots.
We turned off the refrigerator today as the battery drain was too much and the remaining “fresh” food was not so fresh.
Currently charging the battery bank with the generator with the hope that going forward the combination of solar and hydropower will provide all the electricity we will need.
Doug
