Wing-on wing / 観音開き

Today is Day 20 of our voyage which was (is?) expected to last 60 days.  In many ways , it feels like we have just begun.   

In any event, it was nice to end the day as one of quintessential trade winds sailing:  sailing wing-on-wing with gentle following seas.   This picture is from the forward berth shot through the hatch looking up at the sails and mast.

今日で航海20日目になります。60日間の航海の予定でした(です?)。色んな意味でまだ始まったばかりと行った心境です。

何はともあれ、典型的な貿易風でのセーリングで1日を締めくくれて良かったです。穏やかな風に乗って観音開きで航行しました。小さい写真ですが、これは船内前方のハッチから見上げた帆とマストのショットです。
