Hiro received an award from the Prime Minister promoting Japan as a maritime nation.  He is so grateful to receive the award on behalf of all the people who helped to make his achievement happen. ヒロはこの度、海洋立国推進功労者として内閣総理大臣より表彰されました。全盲者として無寄港太平洋横断を達成するに当たって支えて下さった全ての皆様の代表という気持ちで授与して来ました。
