【成功の鍵はドリームウィーバー にやさしく】

３メートルの波と２０ノットを超える風になりました。ドリームウィーバー はそんな中、頑張ってくれています。昼も夜も一番頑張ってくれているのがそリームウィーバーです。そのドリームウィーバー にやさしくすることが今回の航海を成功させる上で最も重要だと考えています。例えば風が上がって来てスピードが出すぎて苦しんでいると思ったらセイルを小さくしたり、ブームがバーンバーンとなり始めたら行きたい方向とは違っても行く方向を変えたり舵からの振動が大きくなり過ぎたらセイルを出してドリームウィーバーへの負担を軽くしたりすることが大切だと改めて思いました。みなさんもどうぞ、私たちを守ってくれているドリームウィーバーに感謝の念を送ってください。よろしくお願いします。

We are getting 3 meter waves in over 20 knots wind. Dream Weaver is doing a great job in that condition. She is the hardest worker among us throughout day and night. One of the most important things to make this voyage successful is to treat her the best we can. We make the sail small when the winds and waves are high, we change our direction when the boom starts to bang, even if it is not the direction we really want to go. When the rudder swings a lot, we put the sail up to reduce too much pressure to it.
