03.08.2019 (Japan Time) Day 12

[Get the hard work done first]

March 8th, 7 a.m. Japan Time, Day 12. Weather: Clear

21.45 N 131.30 W, NE 5 meter wind

Wave hight: 1.2 meter, Course 275°, Boat speed: 10 km/h

We refilled the fuel tank from the spare three containers of fuel that were stored inside the boat. They were underneath the bed located in the front side. We initially stored most of the foods on the bed, so we had to move all of them as well as the bed mattress. First, I thought that was a pain to do now, since we still have more than 200 liters of fuel in the tank. But thought about it again and came to the conclusion to get the hard work done when we have a chance. It was a lot of work with moving heavy items, like canned foods and rice, but we felt much better after that. The stress over ” we got to get this done sometimes later” is now gone. This is not only about sailing, but I would like to recommend everyone to get hard work done first in our daily life as well.
